A paper titled “On the Scalability of Connectivity Services in a Multi-Operator Orchestrator Sandbox” was presented on March 12 at the Optical Networking and Communication Conference & Exhibition (OFC).
The paper investigated the performance of a multi-domain orchestrator (MdO) deployed in the 5GEx Sandox. Results showed how the MdO prototype scales well with the number of domains advertised and connectivity services provisioned.
OFC is the largest global conference and exhibition for optical communications and networking professionals.
In San Diego OFC showcased the latest innovations in the field, with more than 15,500 attendees, 700+ exhibitors from 65 countries, and over 850 peer-reviewed technical sessions.
We are pleased to announce the second 5GEx Industrial Workshop, organized by the 5GEx project, a H2020 5G-PPP phase 1 project. The workshop is part of the 6th Annual Network Virtualization Europe conference (May 22-24, Madrid) organized by KNect365 TMT, an Informa business.
The workshop focuses on the current and future perspectives of MANO, the management and orchestration functional layer for the NFV-enabled telecommunication infrastructure. A prominent focus will be on the interworking of NFV-enabled service providers in the forthcoming 5G networking landscape, both from a business and technical viewpoint.
Beside the workshop, 5GEx will be present with demonstrations, whitepapers and personal presence to foster the exchange of vision and results with all the interested conference participants. We look forward to meet you at the workshop, for discussing with you the 5GEx vision as well as sharing your ideas to transform the 5GEx concept into concrete innovation and growth for your business.
More details, schedule, topics will be updated soon.
